The 19″ handle of this HardCore model recurve is built from a super-duper core slab of stabilizing black Micarta between two outer layers of deeply-hued, finely-cut Exotic African Shedua. The handle back is complemented with a four layer design – Olive Ash Burl alternating with Black Micarta.
Our dual-bolt recurve limbs incorporate the perfect ratio of reflex-to-deflex with uniquely-charactered Olive Ash Burl under clear glass. The exotic materials continue with a four-layer design of Olive Ash Burl alternating with Black Micarta on the limb tips. Limb caps are topped off in black Micarta. A great-looking, great-shooting HardCore recurve!

Our Micarta HardCore offers the exceptional advantage of Micarta (a linen-based phenolic) for strength, speed and smoothness while affording the aesthetics of highly-charactered wood. With this series, we’ve added stabilizing mass with an inner core of Micarta, sandwiching it between with outer layers of exotic woods such as Bubinga, Shedua or Curly Maple. We also offer our HotShot Hardcore, so named for the introduction of our compiled ActionWood in vibrant colors.
Micarta HardCores are available with our dual-pin, double-bolt limb attachment system as well as our acclaimed Stabi-Lockâ„¢ tool-free, performance-boosting limb attachment system.
