This bow features our 19″ handle crafted from a fabulous specimen of exotic African Shedua with great graining and contrast. Decorative center striping in Curly Maple with black Micarta further embellishes this beauty. We’ve topped off the handle back in overlays of Curly Walnut on the uttermost outer layer alternating with black Micarta.

Curly Walnut limb caps sit atop limbs that feature all-black glass. The recurve limb tips are finished out in alternating layers of Curly Walnut coupled with black Micarta.

About the Exotic Classic

Our Exotic Classic takedown recurves and longbows are borne from a solid chunk of Exotic Shedua, an intricately-grained hardwood that hails from Africa and infuses both strength and beauty to our recurve and longbow handles.

Our Classic series features the additional embellishment of center striping in black Micarta (a linen-based phenolic) framing exotic wood such as Shedua, Bubinga or Curly Maple. Overlays on the handle back feature four layers of embellishments in various combinations of black Micarta and exotic veneers.

We build our Exotic Classic series in a variety of limb designs, including black glass, or exotic veneers under clear glass with layered accents on the limp tips, as well as exotic veneers or black Micarta on the limbs caps. Our exclusive double-bolt, double-pin takedown system ensures the most accurate limb alignment on the market. Available as a takedown recurve or takedown long bow, in both right-handed and left-handed orientations.
