Fast and stable, our HardCore recurve bow offers the exceptional advantage of Micarta for strength, speed and smoothness while affording the aesthetics of an highly-charactered wood. Our long riser (23″ handle) adds 25% more mass weight for maximum stability, and the extended site window helps to better gauge distance and eliminate the need for canting.

We’ve crafted this recurve with an inner core of Micarta (a linen-based phenolic) sandwiched between outer layers of exotic African Shedua. After handshaping the curves, the resulting design offers Shedua accents throughout the handle. And, this bow is equipped with our Stabi-Lock™ performance-boosting limb attachment system!

Curly Etimoe adorns our takedown recurve limbs that boast our exclusive Stabi-Lock™ system. Limb tips are finished in four layers of Curly Etimoe with Black Micarta, with matching limb caps topped in Curly Etimoe. This design offers the best of both worlds: HardCore performance, speed and accuracy with HardCore good looks.

ABOUT THE P3 SERIES:  Our Presentation III (aka P3) recurves and longbows are the quintessential target bow. This model allows for longer bow lengths (up to 68″) for the archer with extra long draw lengths, and the 23″ extended handle, known as our long riser, affords the competition archer a number of advantages:

  • Extends the sight window for distance shooting
  • Increases accuracy
  • Eases the release
  • Eliminates the need for canting (leaning versus taking a vertical shot)

This is our most forgiving bow, and is a favorite model among our diehard tournament shooters, as well as archers with an extra long draw. The P3 is a nod to Bob Lee’s 1963 Wing Presentation II model – the world’s first detachable limb bow. This model is available in recurve or longbow, for right-hand or left-hand shooters, and is available in our standard with our double-bolt, double-pin, or upgradable to our Stabi-Lock™ limb attachment for P3s in half micarta (Bicentennial edition) or all micarta (Ultimate edition).
