Take your tournament skills to the next level! This lean and long 64″ bow features our 23″ extended handle. The long riser adds the advantages of a larger site window, which helps to better gauge distance AND eliminates the need for canting. Win, win! 

We’ve crafted this takedown recurve by starting with a super-duper core slab of stabilizing black Micarta sandwiched between two outer layers of outstanding Bubinga. We then handshaped it into our classic profile to reveal character at every turn of the riser. Accenting the handle back is a primary layer of Bubinga contrasted with secondary layers of Bubinga flanked by Black Micarta.

Our powerhouse limbs with ramped-up reflex/deflex are clad in Carbon Twill, locking in exceptional side-to-side torsional strength, and fitted with our exclusive dual-bolt attachment system. And these limbs look as good as they perform, from the sophisticated reptilian carbon pattern running the length of each limb to the crowning glory of limb tips in a four-layer design of Bubinga Atop more Bubinga with Black Micarta. Limb caps (under the limb bolts) also showcase Bubinga. An incredible looker and equally-incredible shooter!

About the P3

Our Presentation III (aka P3) recurves and longbows are the quintessential target bow. This model allows for longer bow lengths (up to 68″) for the archer with extra long draw lengths, and the 23″ extended handle, known as our long riser, affords the competition archer a number of advantages:

  • Extends the sight window for distance shooting
  • Increases accuracy
  • Eases the release
  • Eliminates the need for canting (leaning versus taking a vertical shot)

This is our most forgiving bow, and is a favorite model among our diehard tournament shooters, as well as archers with an extra long draw. The P3 is a nod to Bob Lee’s 1963 Wing Presentation II model – the world’s first detachable limb bow. This model is available in a takedown recurve or takedown longbow, for right-hand or left-hand shooters, and is available in our standard with our double-bolt, double-pin, or upgradable to our Stabi-Lock™ limb attachment for P3s in half micarta (Bicentennial edition) or all micarta (Ultimate edition).
