We’ve crafted this longbow by starting with a super-duper core slab of stabilizing black Micarta sandwiched between two outer layers of outstanding Exotic Bocote. We then handshaped it into our classic profile to reveal a plethora of grain and superior contrasts at every turn of the riser. Accenting the handle back is a primary layer of Walnut Burl over Olive Ash Burl flanked by Black Micarta.
Our powerhouse longbow limbs are fitted with our exclusive dual-bolt attachment system for the ultimate in precision alignment and stability. And these limbs look as good as they perform, with the honey-hued currents of Olive Ash Burl running the length of each limb. Crowning the limb tips is a four-layer design in Walnut Burl atop Olive Ash Burl and Micarta. A Lee Longbow you’ll love to lob arrows from!

Our Micarta HardCore offers the exceptional advantage of Micarta (a linen-based phenolic) for strength, speed and smoothness while affording the aesthetics of highly-charactered wood. With this series, we’ve added stabilizing mass with an inner core of Micarta, sandwiching it between with outer layers of exotic woods such as Bubinga, Shedua or Curly Maple. Micarta HardCores are available with our dual-pin, double-bolt limb attachment system as well as our acclaimed Stabi-Lock™ tool-free, performance-boosting limb attachment system.
