Our takedown longbow boasts limbs decked out in carbon twill. With these limbs you get the extreme stability of the carbon clad construction, virtually eliminating the risk of limb twist while lending performance-enhancing properties to the bow.

We’ve crafted this longbow by starting with a super-duper core slab of stabilizing black Micarta sandwiched between two outer layers of outstanding ZebraWood. We then handshaped this 17″ handle into our classic profile to reveal a plethora of grain and superior contrasts at every turn of the riser.

Accenting the handle back is a primary layer of Etimoe with secondary layers in black and white Micarta.

Our sleek longbow limbs are fitted with our exclusive dual-bolt attachment system for the ultimate in precision alignment and stability. And these limbs look as good as they perform, with the sophisticated patterning of the carbon twill running the length of each limb. Crowning the limb tips is a four-layer design in Etimoe atop white and black Micarta. A longbow unlike any other!

Our Micarta HardCore offers the exceptional advantage of Micarta (a linen-based phenolic) for strength, speed and smoothness while affording the aesthetics of highly-charactered wood. With this series, we’ve added stabilizing mass with an inner core of Micarta, sandwiching it between with outer layers of exotic woods such as Bubinga, Shedua or Curly Maple. Micarta HardCores are available with our dual-pin, double-bolt limb attachment system as well as our acclaimed Stabi-Lock™ tool-free, performance-boosting limb attachment system.
