This bow boasts our all-new CobraCurve carbon twill limbs, as featured on our Shikari model. These limbs are the key ingredient to the Shikari winning formula, and we’ve paired them here with a BlackHawk handle (very similar to the Shikari handle).
With these limbs you get the extreme stability of the carbon clad construction, virtually eliminating the risk of limb twist for a super durable recurve. Add to that the enhanced curvature of the working area of the limb and you get the ramped-up speed in a whisper-quiet shooter.
Our solid Micarta (linen-based phenolic) 19″ handle brings exceptional mass and stability in the hand. Four layers of embellishment on the handle back feature hand-dyed Olive Ash Burl atop black Micarta.
The unique pattern of the carbon twill affords a sophisticated look to the limbs, which are punctuated with limb tips in hand-dyed Olive Ash Burl atop black Micarta framing Curly Maple. Limb caps (under the bolts) repeat the hand-dyed Olive Ash Burl. Beautiful and bold performer!

About the BlackHawk
We build our BlackHawk model beginning with a solid block of speed enhancing black linen-based phenolic (aka Micarta), a material that lends exceptional stabilizing advantages due to its added mass weight and high density. The BlackHawk has earned a place in our Performance line for the boost introduced by the mass weight of the materials.
The BlackHawk is a step up from our all-black Abyss (by allowing limb veneer options), and a step below our Heavyweight (which offers overlays and center striping as well as limb veneers). The BlackHawk comes standard with our double-bolt, double-pin limb attachment system, or can be upgraded to Stabi-Lockâ„¢ for an additional $355. We build our BlackHawk as a takedown recurve or takedown longbow for both right-handed or left-handed archers.
