Renowned for being exceptionally smooth and very forgiving, this one is crafted with a super-duper core slab of stabilizing black Micarta sandwiched between two outer layers of outstanding Zebrawood. We then handshaped it into our classic profile to reveal a plethora of grain and superior contrasts at every turn of the riser. Accenting the handle back is a primary layer of Mappa Burl over African Shedua flanked by Black Micarta.

Our powerhouse longbow limbs are fitted with our exclusive dual-bolt attachment system for the ultimate in precision alignment and stability. The sleek design continues with limbs cloaked in crazy good Kalazinga and punctuated with tips in four layers of Mappa Burl with Curly Walnut and black Micarta beneath. Fast and stable, our HardCore recurve or long bow is available with a center core in an exotic hardwood, or with a core of Micarta.

Our Micarta HardCore offers the exceptional advantage of Micarta (a linen-based phenolic) for strength, speed and smoothness while affording the aesthetics of highly-charactered wood. With this series, we’ve added stabilizing mass with an inner core of Micarta, sandwiching it between with outer layers of exotic woods such as Bubinga, Shedua or Curly Maple. We also offer our HotShot Hardcore, so named for the introduction of our compiled ActionWood in vibrant colors.

Micarta HardCores are available with our dual-pin, double-bolt limb attachment system as well as our acclaimed Stabi-Lock™ tool-free, performance-boosting limb attachment system.
